Bicentennial Plaza

The Government of Mexico proposes to remediate Tlaxcoaque Plaza, located in the perimeter of the Historic Center of Mexico City, on the occasion of the celebrations of the Bicentennial of Independence and the Centenary of the Revolution of Mexico. An architectural proposal sees to respect the Capilla de la concepción Tlaxcoaque It is programmed as a place for cultural events.

A sunken plaza is proposed to stand for popular events. One of the corners of a tower was created to commemorate the insurgents that gave us a nation To ramps circuits up around the tower as a metaphor for the Revolution, the firs is the institutionalization that is regular and the second is the transformation and change that is discontinuous.
